Job Description

The vacancy is for a Relief Security Officer to provide holiday, training and sickness cover, working a variable 12 hour shift pattern.This will include days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays and has a guaranteed minimum working hours of 108 hours per month.Site benefits include full uniform and PPE provided, comprehensive training , free onsite parking along with a competitive pay rate and an attractive staff benefit scheme.Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:Internal and external foot patrolHigh level control room monitoring of access control, CCTV and alarm systems.Ensuring all procedures, site/assignment instructions and SOPs are followed at all timesSite entry, car park barrier control and traffic Management.After hours Reception dutiesAccurate report writing using computer based softwareTo be successful in the role, you will need:SIA Licence Frontline Manned Guarding or Door Supervisor is essentialPSS Licence desirableClean UK Drivers Licence and your own reliable transportPrevious Security experience would be desirable but not essentialExcellent communication skills both written and verbalSmart and professional appearance, good observation and customer service skillsAbility to use your own initiative and work as part of a diverse teamComputer literate in MS word, Excel and Outlook are essentialWhat will you get in return
