Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, diligent individual to join our busy HR Services team as an Employee Changes Administrator. This role would suit a HR Assistant/ Administrator who has relatable HR experience gained within a HR environment.About the role:Our HR Services team deliver a people-centred, professional and efficient service. This includes the administration of key employee life cycle processes, providing comprehensive first line advice to our people on HR policies, procedures, pay and benefits.Key Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • In accordance with established working practices and service level agreements, administering employee life cycle processes, such as salary changes, promotions, family related leave, job changes, leavers etc.
  • Producing accurate correspondence, ensuring quality data is recorded and the timely flow of data changes to Payroll.
  • Manage the HR Services central mailbox, providing quality first line advice to employees on a wide range of queries.
  • Conduct data validation checks in set timescales to ensure people data is accurate and up to date.
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reporting e.g. headcount, absence reporting, benefits reporting etc.
  • Contribute to the improvement of HR processes and procedures.
  • About You:You will have excellent organisational skills, be process and detailed orientated, possess excellent customer and communication skills. You will also need to be a team player with a friendly and proactive can do attitude. Essential Skills
  • A minimum of 12 months demonstrable experience of administering employee life cycle changes within a HR environment
  • Sound working knowledge of HR best practice, in the areas of: process, procedures and legal compliance (including Data Protection)
  • First rate customer service skills
  • Strong numerical aptitude
  • Well-developed IT Skills, proficient user Excel and HR Information Systems
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Diligent individual with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with conflicting demands whilst maintaining outstanding attention to detail and meeting delivery deadlines
  • Shows optimism while navigating changing environments
  • Highly discreet with a clear understanding of confidentiality.
