Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive HR Partner to lead on a significant and complex change programme. Central to this role will be representing and managing the people agenda involved. You will oversee all people issues ensuring that due consideration is made in a timely and effective way, identifying solutions and ensuring that appropriate steps are made to mitigate risks and adapt to changing circumstances.You will need to be adept in advising, coaching and influencing managers across a broad spectrum of employment issues, and, in particular, to encourage new approaches by challenging thinking and behaviours. Overall you will be a supportive and critical friend to the project board as well as the senior management team providing expert, clear and proactive guidance.We’re looking for a highly-skilled and confident communicator and influencer with a proven track record of leading the HR agenda for significant change programmes; including restructuring, redundancy and TUPE consultation work and significant experience of providing strategic and operational HR advice and guidance at a senior level.You will need resilience and flexibility to work under pressure and the ability to listen, analyse and respond effectively as well as mediate in complex and difficult situations. A track record of delivering project and excellent working knowledge of legal framework/best practice surrounding employment is also essential. Essential Skills

  • Membership of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development [CIPD] or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience of, and demonstrable success in, providing strategic and operational HR advice and guidance at a senior level
  • A proven track-record of leading the HR agenda for significant change programmes; including restructuring, redundancy and TUPE consultation work
  • Excellent working knowledge of legal framework/best practice surrounding employment
  • Clear appreciation of the strategic context in which HR operates
  • Highly-skilled and confident communicator who can clearly present ideas and solutions across all mediums - face to face, presenting to an audience, in writing
  • Ability to listen, analyse and respond effectively/mediate in complex and difficult situations
  • Demonstrable ability to influence and persuade others to take appropriate actions
  • Good track record of managing and delivering projects
  • Positive can do’ attitude and flexible/creative approach to problem-solving
  • Resilience to work under sustained pressure and hold one’s own in challenging situations
