Job Description

Welding Specialist Automotive Manufacturing Competitive Salary A Welding specialist is required to join a company who specialise in the manufacturing of tubular products made of precision steel, lightweight aluminium or high strength titanium for the automotive industry. This is a permanent position that includes benefits.Whats in it for you:

As Welding Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • 3D CAD new process development and offline robot teaching
  • Design and assist in design of holding fixtures to ensure part quality and repeatability
  • Equipment software (PLC) preparation and introduction
  • New model Welding robot and material handling robot teaching
  • Maintain/repair robotic and welding equipment
  • Make recommendations on general part designs
  • Optimize laser/robotic welding parameters
  • Perform MIG welding operations (simple to moderate)
As Welding Specialist you will need the following;
  • Weld equipment experience (Preferably Fronius Weld sets/Yaskawa Robots)
  • Part holding and fixturing experience
  • Robot teaching capability
  • PLC programming experience
  • Self-motivated and flexible to travel to different site locations/ Customers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Weld Testing qualification
