Warehouse Operative - Permanent Salary - £23k Location - Hinckley Hours - Monday - Friday 37.5 hoursThe Recruitment Group is working with the UKs largest Geosynthetic material suppliers who manufacture and supply products to the Construction and Civil engineering sector.Purpose of the Warehouse OperativeOur client is looking for an individual that whole heartedly embraces the Companys ethos and can clearly demonstrate a strong accruement of systems, distribution, and procedures.Main duties and responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative. To be responsible for the Health and Safety of yourself and others by adhering to safe working practices. . Ensure all customers, drivers and visitors dealt with promptly, professionally, and courteously. . Goods In: Unload deliveries, check the quantity and quality of goods and safely store in warehouse or yard in line with Company procedures. . Order Fulfilment - Accurately pick, pack and label customer orders in line with Company Procedures - requires manual handling. . Dispatch - Load Lorries and ensure paperwork has the necessary signatures in line with Company procedures. . Check the quantity and quality of any goods returned in line with Company procedures. . To carry out duties accurately and in line with the Key Performance Indicators. . To carry out general housekeeping, maintenance, and hygiene duties, to ensure that the profile of the site is maintained to the very highest standard. . Undertake stock takes in an accurate manner.Experience/knowledge requirements for a Warehouse Operative. Have experience of warehouse picking . Be numerate and computer literate & be able to work accurately. . A good timekeeper with a high level of commitment . A confident person with the ability to work consistently as part of a team. . Ability to work under your own initiative in a time critical environment. . Must have a positive attitude to work. . An effective communicator with the ability to develop good working relationships at all levels. Qualifications . Basic Maths .
