Could this be your next career moveAs the Software & Embedded Firmware Engineer at Ocean LED, you will be the guiding light for all software and embedded firmware-related activities. Working closely with the Engineering Manager and our dedicated Engineering Team your role centres on designing,developing, and controlling software and firmware within our specialised products.We value individuals who are driven, self-motivated, and possess a keen eye for spotting opportunities to enhance and expand our product range.   • BEng or MSc degree, or equivalent, in computer science.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven embedded software/firmware development:
  • Hands-on experience with embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ for microcontrollers (e.g., Microchip PIC, STM32).
  • Knowledge of C# windows application programming.
  • Familiarity with Linux development environments and software reverse engineering.
  • Ideally, Linux kernel and driver development.
  • Full stack web development experience:
  • HTML5 and Java programming knowledge.
  • Basic use of framework development tools (e.g., Vue.js, React.js).
  • System-wide understanding, beyond standalone feature development.
  • Demonstrated ability to present ideas to colleagues and management.
  • Effective scheduling and coordination skills for meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proactive mindset with a talent for identifying opportunities.
