Job Description

Job Title: Site Chemist (Permanent Position)Location: Hinckley, UKIndustry: IndustrialWe are currently recruiting for a Site Chemist on behalf of our client, a leading industrial company based in Hinckley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual looking for a permanent role in the industrial sector. As a Site Chemist,you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sites chemical processes. Key Responsibilities:- Conduct daily analysis of samples using various chemical testing methods and techniques.- Monitor and maintain chemical stocks, ensuring an adequate supply at all times.- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, adhering to safety regulations.- Evaluate and interpret test results, generating accurate reports and documentation.- Collaborate with internal teams and provide technical support as and when required.- Assist in the development and improvement of operating procedures and protocols.- Maintain a safe working environment, following strict health and safety guidelines.- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any potential hazards or risks.- Carry out any other duties within the scope of the role, as assigned by the management.Qualifications and Skills:- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related field.- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Chemist, preferably in the industrial sector.- Sound knowledge of chemical testing methodologies and techniques.- Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment and software.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimum supervision.- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to chemical processes.Salary: £12.00 - £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)To apply for this exciting opportunity, please visit our website at workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
