Quality Manager.Voestalpine Rotec - Engineering Component Manufacturing.Hinckley, Leicestershire.Competitive Salary. An excellent opportunity to take the lead in Quality for a high-volume manufacturer of engineered components.Voestalpine Rotec is part of the €18 billion Austrian Voestalpine Group. Rotec sits within the Tubes & Sections business unit and the site at Hinckley produces tubular products for automotive and other sectors. Products range from basic tube parts to morecomplex formed and welded components.Reporting to the Managing Director and managing a small Quality team, the Quality Manager will be a key member of the top management team who are working together to grow the existing business and diversify into new products and markets.You must have an impressive track record in leading a manufacturing Quality function and be a confident decision maker on manufacturing Quality issues. There is already a Quality systems expert within the team, which will enable the Quality Manager to focuson Quality in day-to-day production and new product introduction.Strong people skills are essential, be it managing and developing the team, collaborating with colleagues or dealing with customers and suppliers.
