  • Manage/improve IT infrastructure for all sites
  • Manage/Upgrade and update Servers as per business procedures
  • Implement/manage/administer Windows Server Active Directory infrastructure
  • Network infrastructure design and delivery - LAN/WAN, Firewalls, Storage etc
  • Manage and provision network switches (Cisco Meraki), WiFi access points, patch panels and Qnap/NAS storage
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line desktop support on site and users working remotely
  • Work closely with Support Engineers to resolve IT tickets using the ticket system (Solarwinds Service Desk, SAManage)
  • Assist Support Engineer to provision computers, laptops, servers, and mobile devices according to company requirement
  • Implementation of infrastructure projects to ensure an efficient and timely delivery
  • Flexibility to travel between sites if needed, Hinckley, Watford and London
  • Act as a 2nd/3rd line escalation point for Incident, Problem and Critical events
  • Has a understanding of VoIP (SIP, WebRTC, RTP, VLAN QOS, DiffServ)
  • Key skills required to be successful
  • Minimum of two years experience in IT Support
  • Hands on experience in networking, RAID controllers, Dell Power-Edge servers or similar servers
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Hands on experience in Network Storage Drive and backup solutions
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to understand needs and requests
  • Solid experience in Microsoft Windows Server environment (Windows Server 2016 Operating System, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Radius, TCP/IP, VLAN and VPN)
  • Has experience with hosted VoIP. Understands the technical requirements including SIP, WebRTC, RTP, VLAN QOS, DiffServ
  • Good knowledge of latest IT equipment and trends
  • Troubleshooting 2nd Line and 3rd line networking issues
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • Demonstrable experience of Server & Desktop Operating Systems
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a 3rd line support position
