Junior Design Engineer. Reporting to the Principal/Senior Design Engineer (geotechnical), the Graduate Design Engineer will be part of the Engineering Department working on a variety of civil and geotechnical projects. The role will involve undertaking relevantdesign calculations for the different applications using Geosynthetics systems. The Graduate Design Engineer would also contact consultant engineers/architects and contractors to discuss solutions/designs with a view to gaining specifications and promotingnew solutions with Geosynthetics. Junior Design Engineer Responsibilities- To produce relevant geotechnical design calculations, drawings and relevant documents for the use of Geosynthetics materials - Discussing projects/solutions and designs with customers (consultant engineers, civil engineering and contractors) to provide technical solutions - Contact consultant engineers and civil engineering contractors with a view to gaining specifications and promoting the product range - Understand the Company business plan and philosophy - To develop and enhance technical capabilities of the companyJunior Design Engineer Requirements- BEng or MEng Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering or similar discipline - Driving License due to location - Full Right to work in the UK is essential Hours: Monday - Friday, permanent days (flexible start / finish time.)
