ICT Apprentice - End User Services EngineerStarting at £6.83 per hour up to £9.50 per hour, National Minimum Wage for your age. On completion you will achieve the following vendor qualifications:CompTIA A+CompTIA Cloud Essentials+ Certified RIT TechBCS - Chartered Institute for ITIn the role you will work collaboratively with internal customers, suppliers and colleagues to support the delivery of the highest quality ICT Service desk experience as well as delivering new technologies and ways of working.You will focus on delivering great customer service, continuous improvement, excellent solutions as well as proactive maintenance to keep our technology estate in tip top condition.This will be an interesting and very varied role supporting the technologies and devices our customers use, these include:Desktop - Windows 10 & 11, Microsoft365, Teams, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktopMobile - Android and Apple through our MDM (Intune)Microsoft Services - Exchange, SQL, SCCM/Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), WSUSActive Directory and Windows administration tools Virtualisation technologies - VMware, Nutanix (Acropolis)Remote access systems such as TeamViewerThe role will be based at one of three District and Borough Councils (Hinckley & Bosworth, Blaby or Melton).We operate a hybrid-working model with a mix of office based, home and remote working available when suitable. The contractual base will be office based with agreed flexibility to work from home or at remote working locations.What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeshipWe cannot guarantee a permanent position following the completion of the apprenticeship, but we have an excellent track record of keeping our successful apprentices in the organisation.
