Job Description

HR Advisor (Out of Hours)- Up to £35,000- Full-time- Office based- Hinckley, LeicestershireWe are working with a national business compliance company based in Hinckley, that offers expert advice on HR, Employment Law and Health & Safety to more than 14,000 businesses across the UK.They are currently looking for a HR Advisor to join their thriving team - this is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading business and progress your career within HR.This role is outside of normal office hours, but is still full-time (37.5 hours). The options for hours for this position are as follows:WEEKEND WORKING:17.30 - 21.00 Friday, and 8.00 - 21.00 Saturday and Sunday with the extra hours worked on the Friday to keep your contract to three days, or on another day of the week.WEEKEND/EVENING WORKING:Working a Saturday or Sunday shift, this can be 12 hours (e.g. 8.00 - 20.00), or a little bit shorter within reason. The remainder of the hours could be split throughout the week through 3 other shifts, but would need to be in the evenings, one ofwhich must be a Friday.ROTATING WEEKEND WORKING:Working one full weekend, and then the following week having the weekend completely off but working in the evenings on the weekdays for example:Week 1 - Thursday and Friday 14.15 - 21.00, Saturday and Sunday 8.00 - 21.00Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 11.00 - 21.00, Friday 11.00 - 20.30There is flexibility with these hours, but they must cover weekends and evenings.About the job:In this role you will be responsible for providing professional HR and Employment Law advice and excellent service to clients across the UK via telephone and email. You will need to work as part of a team in order to ensure that the advice you are providingto clients meets their specific needs and is compliant with the law. In some cases, you may have to highlight options that are not compliant, and make sure that the client completely understands the risks they would be taking if they chose to take these.Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Meeting personal and department KPI’s
  • Supporting clients with legally compliant advice and adding a personal touch
  • Putting the client first at all times
  • Responding within contractual SLA’s (Service Level Agreements)
  • Guiding clients with all Employment Law/HR enquiries they might have
  • Providing as many options to clients as possible
  • Taking ownership and responsibility of cases to resolve them
  • Building strong relationships with clients during each interaction
  • Recording the advice you have given to clients accurately on the databases
  • Supporting with advice on documentation and information implementation
  • Supporting clients in drafting ad-hoc letters where required
  • Advising in line with the client’s documents and taking their terms and conditions into consideration
  • Attending legal briefings and internal training to make sure the advice you are giving out is compliant with the company’s services
  • Studying and staying up to date with any changes in legislation and best practice
  • Delivering an outstanding service at all times
  • Attending video conference calls if needed
  • Referring the company’s other services and products to clients
  • Attending departmental and office team meetings
  • Carrying out any other tasks deemed necessary by management

  • Driving license and access to a car is preferable due to the location of the office
  • Previous experience within HR is required in a similar setting, internally for a business or as part of other roles for example management positions within retail
