Job Description

Job Title: Equity Release AdvisorJob Location: Hinckley Salary: £28,000- £45,000 OTE Our client is a well-established financial business with years of experience in the industry. Theyre looking for an experienced Equity Release Advisor to join their team!The Equity Release Advisors Responsibilities are:

  • To provide telephone based, whole of market equity release advice
  • To deliver the highest standards of compliant advice in line with all regulatory requirements while considering a clients needs, objectives, alternatives, finances, preferences and all other relevant circumstances
  • To co-ordinate with all relevant parties (clients, providers, solicitors, charity departments and any other required individuals or organisations) to ensure a smooth transition from application to completion
  • To take responsibility for your own personal development and maintain product and market knowledge via all available resources to ensure all Training and Competence standards are achieved
  • To ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded and to ensure that the FCAs principles of Treating Customers Fairly are embedded in all activities to keep the client at the heart of what we do
  • To process any new or ongoing applications received by the department in a prompt, efficient and accurate manner
  • To develop and maintain strong relationships with all external business partners and all internal departments
Essentials:
  • Certificate in Regulated Mortgage Advice (CeMap / MAQ)
  • Certificate in Regulated Equity Release (CeRER)
  • Competent Status as a practicing Equity Release Advisor
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the equity release industry, including providers, products, competitors, solicitors and surveyors
  • Proven success in providing compliant equity release advice
  • Delivering advice over the telephone (desirable)
  • Ability to analyse client information and to make independent recommendations
