An exciting opportunity has a risen for an ambitious candidate to strengthen our Development Management Team. This career graded post is an excellent opportunity, for an experienced planning officer or if you are just starting out on your planning career. Either way, we want to support and develop your skills to perform and progress as a professional officer.Working as a Career Grade Planner, you will play an important role in managing a varied caseload of all types of planning applications, pre-application enquiries, prosecutions and appeals (dependant upon experience). We have wide range of development proposals from urban extensions, large employment uses, proposals in sensitive locations and exciting regeneration proposals that you will be able to experience. You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable with handling conflict and negotiating solutions to challenging problems. We will also give you the opportunity to broaden your skills and gain valuable experience to support your career development.
