Do you have experience in operational purchasing Are you someone who thrives in fast paced environmentsA business in Hinckley is on the lookout for an Operational Buyer to join their team. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring raw materials, components, indirects and any third-party services are available and obtained atbest price.Day to day youll be placing purchase orders, ensuring accurate stock levels and managing the MRP system. You will also work towards supplier OTIF and contribute to improving overall supplier performance.Excellent communication and relationship building skills are required, as youll be liaising daily with the suppliers and reporting their KPIs as well as managing and expediting orders.You will need to have experience using ERP/MRP and be competent using MS Excel.
