Assistant Management Accountant Hinckley Full time Temporary - Permanent SF Recruitment are working with a business in Hinckley who are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join the business on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a newly create position due to growth within the business. As the Assistant ManagementAccountant you will support the Financial Controller with the monthly management accounting and month end duties. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to gain exposure & join a progressive organisation. Duties of the Assistant Management Accountant:- Accruals - Prepayments - Journals - Balance sheet reconciliations - Bank reconciliations - P&L Analysis - Sales revenue analysis - Assist with adhoc project work - Daily cashflow monitoring and management - Preparation of VAT, PAYE and proforma year-end tax matters undertaken on time and accurately - Proactively share ideas and implement approved cost saving/efficiency initiatives across the business Knowledge and Skills:.- Highly capable data manipulation and spreadsheet skills - Studying CIMA or ACCA preferred but not essential. - Post qualification experience across Financial and Management Accounting ideally gained within a SME - Medium sized concern. - Analytical mind and a keen eye for detail. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. To be considered for this position you must be available immediately or at short notice. Experience within a similar role is also essential.
