* Salary: £20,067 - £23,608We are seeking an Asset Data Administrator to join our successful, national gas distribution client in Hinkley, Leicestershire. This is a permanent position that would suit a Geography or Geology graduate or a candidate with spatial science/ GIS applicationsexperience.This is an exciting time to join a company that is really making a difference through innovation and new ways of working and theyre looking for motivated people to help shape a cleaner, greener future for their 11 million customers!Job specificationAs an Asset Data Administrator, youll have experience in GIS or SPSS and provide administrative support to the Asset Update Team. Maintaining excellent quality customer service to all internal and external stakeholders, youll provide advice and support viadifferent communication channels. Key accountabilities will also include: * Responsible for the digitisation of Cadents asset/maintenance records within our (GIS) geographical information system ESRI and ensuring compliance with all policies, processes and procedures* Receiving and validating work information to ensure all relevant documents/information are included for asset and or system update; ensuring that they represent an accurate reflection of the activity undertaken on site* Liaising with relevant stakeholders to resolve/complete any queries with the work information including any design / re-design activities/further investigation/maintenance activities* Completing any additional project closure activities where required* Working collaboratively with IS to monitor system health and ensure relevant housekeeping is undertakenPerson specificationWere looking for someone who possesses the following skills, knowledge and qualifications:* Working knowledge of ESRI or similar GIS systems is desirable* Experience of Spatial Analysis or SAP* Working knowledge of relevant policies / associated Local Work Procedures and its applications* Competent in the use of standard desktop packages, i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel* Motivated to learn new skills and tools and be flexible to deal with change* Self-aware and understand your personal impact on others* Well organised, motivated, resourceful and able to demonstrate that you are passionate about continuous improvement, with the ability to work accurately within tight deadlines and on your own initiative* Be a completer / finisher with a questioning approach and a keen eye for detail and high quality.* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, alongside the ability to build strong working relationships within and outside the immediate team* Strategic and ordered thinker with strong technical skills able to analyse data* Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues within the processBenefits * 25 days holiday plus 8 statutory bank holidays, with the option to buy and sell * Generous Pension Scheme which is double matched up to 12%* Opportunity to earn annual bonus* Private medical insurance available through our flexible benefits programme* Flex Benefits including; cycle to work scheme, salary sacrifice car scheme, insurances and healthcare packages* My Offers membership card - offering discounts and savings from hundreds of retailers* Access to our Occupational Health Services including employee assistance programme which offers confidential counselling* Support with financial wellbeingDo you like the sound of this position If you have the experience and qualifications listed above then we want to talk to you.
