Job Description

This is a busy and varied role, supporting the operation of the time and working closely with the Director and Head of Operations of a busy financial organization.

  • Ensuring timely reconciliation of fees into the business, the prompt and accurate payment to suppliers.
  • Maintaining good relationships with all clients, providers and suppliers of the business; enhancing the profile of the Company among its clients and community.
  • Accurate upkeep of the financial transactions to ensure accurate records are maintained.
  • Supporting the developing and maintenance of internal processes to help maintain business flow and agreed service standards.
  • Providing information to ensure workflows are followed and standards adhered.
  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times, whist adhering to regulatory demands.
  • Month end fee reconciliation on to the Company Database, Intelligent Office
  • Dealing with payroll and liaising with Company accountants
  • Sending out client invoices
  • Arranging payments to suppliers
  • Dealing with both incoming and outgoing post
  • Database management
  • Liaising with product providers and other relevant third parties
  • Individual workflow and task delivery
  • Overseeing office facilities and stock ordering and maintenance
  • Diary and email management for the Director
  • Maintaining a record of the team meeting notes
  • Implementing and delivering projects as determined by the Head of Operations
  • Person Specification:
  • Candidates should come from an IFA Support or Finance/accounts assistant background with additional office management experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good analytical skills and ability to think outside of the box
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • A commitment to learn and develop
  • Good attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Intelligent Office is an advantage
  • Additional Information:
  • Based in Islington, staff are currently remotely based. From June the role can be 3 days office, 2 days home if desired
  • Salary: £25-30,000 dependent on experience and current/most recent remuneration
  • Support given towards professional financial services qualifications
  • Monday - Friday 9-5.30
  • 20 days holiday but on top of that the office is closed from 23rd Dec to first working day back in January
