An exciting opportunity has arisen for registered healthcare professionals to support the delivery of a vaccine for Covid-19 across the North East and North Cumbria. This programme of work will be the biggest immunisation programme of our time and will be both challenging and rewarding. You will be responsible for multiple duties such as clinical assessment, possible dilution and drawing up of the vaccine from multi-dose vials and additional clinical support.We are looking for organised individuals who can manage their own workload and you will need to be a good communicator with the ability to promote excellent team and interdisciplinary relationships. You will be a Registered Health Care Professional who is able to work on your own initiative, meet tight deadlines and will need to hold good analytical skills. In addition, you will need to be able to undertake sound decision making when faced with changing clinical situations. Appropriate training and supervision will be provided to ensure you flourish in your role.Essential Requirements• Educated to degree level (level 5) in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area• Registered Health Care Professional e.g. NMC for nurses, GPhC for pharmacists and equivalent for other healthcare professionals.• Current immunisation training / update or willingness to undertake• Previous experience in similar clinical role• Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team• An ability to maintain confidentiality and trust• Commitment to and focused on quality, promotes high standards in all they do• Flexible approach to work and ability to cope with uncertainty and change• Values diversity and difference, operates with integrity and opennessThere are posts available across the North East and North Cumbria region.
