Job Description

Were looking for a Sales Manager to work for our client.They are a highly respected company in the field of air conditioning offering a wealth of experience at the disposal of new and existing customers. The company have been supplying, installing, commissioning and maintaining air conditioning & HVAC systems.They have an unrivalled reputation for quality and dedication to service where many of our competitors have failed. All their Installation Engineers and help staff are directly employed highly trained and kept up to date with all current aspects of moderntechnology, environmental and health and safety issues.If you can demonstrate a background in maintaining and building new relationships with B2B, contractors and suppliers then you could be perfect for our client and wed love to see your CV.Responsibilities:

  • Developing the sales of air conditioning & ventilation and managing installation contracts to a range of customers nationwide. They will provide a single based contact from the initial enquiry/quotation to installation/commissioning handover; also developingnew clients as well as existing ones
  • Taking ownership of a project from the point of customer enquiry/order and managing it through to completion. This will typically involve design, delivery, installation and commissioning phases
  • Writing detailed site-specific risk assessments and method statements, ensuring compliance with all necessary health & safety legislation
  • Undertaking thorough site surveys, obtaining information to enable detailed design work by the technical / CAD departments. Once this has been done, return to site and prove drawings before installation
  • Managing the clients installation teams and sub-contractors, attending site to monitor the quality and progress of our installations and obtain final sign-off / acceptance of the work
  • Submitting interim project valuations, payment applications and invoice claims
  • Conveying with the directors to monitor progress and control costs throughout the project to ensure it is delivered on time and within budget, submitting regular financial and progress reports
Requirements:
  • A background in maintaining and building new relationships with B2B, contractors and suppliers
  • Additional knowledge of overseeing the installation process for contractors
  • Further background in developing conceptual ideas that meet secured and tendered projects and add value
  • Knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
  • Knowledge of project management experience is key with a previous installation company specialising in air conditioning/ventilation systems
  • Background of working in a high-pressure, customer-facing role managing many projects simultaneously
  • Able to travel around the UK visiting customers and sites
  • Organised and able to work under pressure with exceptional planning and problem-solving skills
  • A highly motivated and passionate professional that takes pride in their work
  • A full driving licence is needed for this role
The Package:Basic salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annumBonus: A personal bonus is also available if you hit your targets - full details of the scheme will be revealed on applicationBenefits include:
