Part of the CareTech Family of Companies, we are one of the largest providers of Specialist Education and Residential Services for children and young people in the UK, delivering across Special Education Schools and Colleges, Residential Children’s Homes and a Therapeutic Fostering Service.We are embarking on a period of transformation in line with our ambitious plans and, at the absolute core of our business, is our commitment to supporting our amazing children and young people, each with their own needs, aspirations and infinite potential to reach their personal best.Our teams are fully committed to Cambian’s goals, they understand the challenges and rewards of working with our young people and know that every day they will achieve things that really matter.Key to meeting all of these aspirations will be the Registered Manager we are looking for, to lead and support our teams in the Great Manchester area.With responsibility for 2 dual sites, Complex Needs Homes, in Heywood, you will be a Level 5 qualified, and experienced Homes Manager, able to lead an established staff team to create a nurturing and warm environment for our young people.Central to this will be an integral part of running the 2 dual sites, providing a stable and welcoming Home where our young people are central to everything we do. You will be able to juggle all the priorities needed to deliver positive outcomes - combining strong leadership, commitment and a team based approach to the management of trauma.We are looking for an innovative leader - able to provide outstanding levels of care to ensure that our young people have the best possible life chances. You will have an excellent track record in Children’s Services, with the ability to develop outstanding teams and quality systems. Cambian will offer a best in class support framework to maximise your success and to underpin the achievements you will deliver with your team, for our young people.You will need a real eye for detail - understanding that our absolute commitment to the Safeguarding of our children and young people is our top priority. You will be able to demonstrate comprehensive experience of the Children’s Services Regulations, the environment we work in and the understanding that the safety of our children is paramount.We are a unique and complex business and you will need to balance a hands on, practical approach with a creative and innovative style and the ability to respond with positivity and a can do’ mindset.Bringing our plans to life will be challenging and intense but, with enthusiasm, creativity and a hands on approach, the reward and satisfaction will be second to none.
