Quality Assurance ControllerHeywood, Lancashireto £35,000Immediate starts available.Leading organisation within their industry requires a Quality Assurance Controller who will be responsible for ensuring purchased products meet my clients requirements in terms of on time, in full and to specification. You will have at least 5 years experiencein a similar role (ideally in fabrication and assembly), a relevant qualification, e.g. Manufacturing Engineering or Quality related, strong knowledge of quality tools and techniques, understand quality audit frameworks and ISO9001As a Quality Assurance Controller you are required to conduct audits and assessments of new and existing suppliers, this covers processes and capabilities, work instructions, quality plans, statistical process control records, people competence, etc, createaudit reports describing supplier strengths and weaknesses to support qualify of the supplier as an approved source, for both new and existing suppliers, monitoring supplier quality performance through assessment and analysis of product defects, deliveryfailures and other recorded incidents involving the suppliers failure to meet requirements and support the Group HSQE Manager in tracking the cost of poor quality per supplier, including labour and material resources involved in replacing, repairing and scrappingdefective parts. This includes supporting the Procurement Manager with regard to warranty and recalls, taking corrective action on non-conformances, ensuring root causes are determined and corrective action is taken regarding product or process and workingwith HSQE and Procurement to rank and support the development of approved suppliers, working directly with supplier personnel to continually improve performanceThis role offers a salary to £35,000 and offers superb new fitted out premises/factory, a great salary and career prospects, pension, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays and free parkingThis role is commutable from Heywood, Bury, Rochdale, Bolton, Oldham, Ashton-under-Lyne, Stockport, Manchester, Burnley, Halifax, Huddersfield, Stockport
