Mechanical Fitterc£26,000 + overtime, pension, holidaysHeywoodDays, Monday to Friday with overtimeMy client, a market leader within their sector is looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join the team. This role will involve the breakdown, assembly, testing & commissioning of large capital machinery. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a Manufacturing/assembly environment.Role Description*Assist the production team in building large capital machinery*Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety regulations*Ensure that production targets are met safely and efficiently within the working environment*Work cross functionally with design and technical teams, on build issues, to produce a superior product.*Actively assist in continuous improvement and standardisation projects and processes*Take part in working on customer sites abroad, assisting with the assembly, test, and commissioning of new machinery Skills and Qualifications*Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering - Time served*Has experience of using Mechanical Engineering processes in assembly and fitting*Strong experience working in a manufacturing/assembly environment*Has experience of working to engineering drawings*Experience working in a customer facing role is preferredCompany InformationWith a secure portfolio of clients these roles provide a stable and secure opportunity in the present economic market.In return for your commitment my client offers a stable and secure career.
