Disab Started 40 years ago and have grown to be the European market leader in our field of industrial machinery and materials handling equipment.The successful Mechanical Fitter will be expected to maintain, service and repair of machinery and material handling equipment at our Heywood Greater Manchester depot and various customer sites across the UK.This role will be based out of our Heywood, near Manchester, workshop but some travel across the UK to various customer sites is to be expected and required.The expectation with this role is that there will be occasions when you will be carrying out routine maintenance and breakdown work on our own machinery on sites such as quarries, water treatment sites, power stations etc and also in our heated multi bayworkshop at Heywood, no two days will be the same and this job is always interesting.Overtime and work away allowances are paid for all overnight stays.Whats in it for meThe successful candidate can expect a company culture that promotes work life balance, a commitment to continued learning and development, a fantastic benefits package which includes:
