Job Description

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER / MANCHESTER /£35,000 TO £37,000 OTE + BENEFITSAre you an experienced Field Service Engineer, looking for a new role with a growing company, that puts its people first Do you want to work in an environment where Management knows your name, and stops to speak to you Want to work Monday- Friday without shifts If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you!Disab UK Ltd is the UK arm of a four-company group owned by Disab Sweden. Disab Started 40 years ago and have grown to be the European market leader in our field of industrial machinery and materials handling equipment.The successful Field Service Engineer will be expected to maintain, service and repair vacuum machinery and material handling equipment at our Heywood depot and various customer sites across the UK.This role will be based out of our Heywood, near Manchester, workshop but some travel across the UK to various customer sites is to be expected and required.The expectation is that there will be occasions when you will be carrying out routine maintenance and breakdown work on our own machinery on sites such as quarries, water treatment sites, power stations etc and also in our heated multi bay workshop, no twodays will be the same and this job is always interesting.Overtime and work away allowances are paid for all overnight stays.Whats on Offer

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 to £37,000 on target earnings.

Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:
  • Servicing systems utilising your knowledge of our systems and equipment.
  • Deliver a high-class customer experience by providing a high standard of customer service, including problem solving whilst building customer relationships.
  • Preparation of service work utilising organisational skills.
  • Correctly complete Engineer work reports, handover certificates.
  • Travel to sites across the UK.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Be reliable, trustworthy, self-motivated with the ability to work alone as well as in a team.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Work closely with the planning team, ensuring your time is managed efficiently and jobs are prioritised correctly.
  • Hold a full UK driving Licence.
  • Genuine interest in Engineering, experienced or with qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with three phase electrical equipment and fault finding is a requirement but not part P or 18th edition qualified as these are not required.
  • Experience in servicing and or installation of industrial machinery is required.
