Job Description

Mpeople Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Export Customer Service Administrator on behalf of our client who are a reputable and thriving manufacturing organisation based in Heywood.Please note that to be considered for this role it is essential that you have experience in completing export documentation.

  • Hours of Work: 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
  • Location: Heywood (OL10)
  • Salary: Between £22,000 and £25,000 dependent on experience
The Export Customer Service Administrator will act as the liaison and point of contact between customers and internal teams. You will be responsible for handling all aspects of export processes, delivering high class customer service, and covering a rangeof administrative tasks.Duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Sales order processing using the internal CRM system (SAP)
  • To complete export documentation in line with the Chamber of Commerce
  • To produce/process letters of Credit
  • To maintain files of customer orders and supporting documentation.
  • To liaise with freight companies to arrange shipments and gain quotations for shipments, as well as liaising with the logistics department
  • Working with the credit department to clear blocked orders
  • Updating the customer in relation to shipping dates, any anticipated delays, correct unit prices etc.
  • To balance shipments and process customer orders
  • To enter month end inventory for creation of billing, and balance with customers as needed
  • To prepare invoices as required
  • To maintain customer material information records, including cost estimates
The required traits, skills, and background
  • Experience in completing Export/Shipping documentation for international shipments is essential
  • Experience with Chamber of Commerce is also essential
  • Experience using SAP would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Customer service focused
  • Strong communication and rapport building skills (written and verbal)
  • It would also be advantageous for applicants to be multilingual due to liaising with international customers day to day, however this is not essential
  • Organised, methodical and has great time management skills
