Job Description

Heywood, 100% office basedMonday to Friday = 37 hoursSalary: £23,232 annually + 10% bonus upon 100% target achievement.An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join the sales team for one of our well established clients based in the Heywood, Greater Manchester area. This role is 100% office based, being the first point of contact, deliveringexceptional customer service via telephone, emails, EDI and all other customer touch points. We are looking for someone with a conscientious and flexible approach to work. Whilst being confident, enthusiastic with a can-do attitude, who has the ability tomultitask and organise priorities.Benefits working for this company:

Your role as an Customer Service Advisor will include, but not be limited:
  • Process a range of customer requests; accurately inputting data, pricing, and delivery details. Mainly using SAP, the Amazon platform, along with Microsoft and other in-house software systems.
  • Understand when adhere to all regulatory guidelines that include GDPR, PCI compliance, and others.
  • Manage customer queries from orders places or stock availability, liaising on the supporting teams and work to build preventative solutions whenever possible.
  • Working in partnership with customers, being their first point of contact for all order and stock questions.
  • Identifying ways to enhance the customer experience, by using appropriate questioning techniques and applying product knowledge to meet their needs.
  • Advise & communicate on new and relaunched products, ensuring customer forecasting is provided and shared with supply chain colleagues.
  • Support colleagues within supply chain to ensure existing and phase out products are offered appropriately to your customers and sold from inventory when needed.
  • Effectively work towards agreed targets and call measures whist ensuring that queries are dealt with efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Reporting to the first line manager with information received from customers in relation to the market, competitor activity, etc.
Customer Service Advisor require the below:
  • NVQ Level 2 or above in Customer Service, Sales, or equivalent qualification.
  • Willingness to undergo personal training and development, for an on-going high level of competence necessary for the role.
  • Experience within SAP.
  • Experience within Customer Service.
  • Experience in internal & external direct sales.
  • Persuasive telephone manner and strong solution building initiatives.
  • Ability to generate leads for sales, seek opportunities and support & develop "objection handling" skills.
  • Understanding of data protection, equality and diversity.
