Job Description

Apollo Home Healthcare is a provider of care in the home to those with complex, life limiting conditions and needs. We support both adults and children by providing highly skilled care teams on an ongoing basis. Our service aims to alloweach client to live their best life.

  • Clinical Nurse Specialist (Weekdays)
  • Heywood, Lancashire
  • Up to £40,000pa
  • Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm - 37.5 hours per week (Days)
  • No weekends or nights
  • Applicants must hold a UK Driving Licence
We are ideally looking for a nurse who has worked with children, or both adults and children, and has complex clinical skills.You will be travelling to our clients homes in and around the North West of England, but you will be based in our office in Heywood.Skills & Experience Required:
  • Experience of working with children who have life limiting, complex conditions (Training can be provided)
  • Relevant clinical skills in interventions such as enteral feeding, respiratory management including tracheostomy and ventilation.
  • An up to date NMC registration
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • The role is working in a small, dedicated team in a very fast paced environment.

  • Clinical care planning and conducting risk assessments.
  • Reviewing and updating care plans when our clients needs change.
  • Ensuring all Healthcare Assistants are competent in any clinical tasks and carrying out competency signoffs.
  • Working with the office staff to ensure a smooth running of the care package.
  • Training Healthcare Assistant in aspects of their clinical practice.
  • Transcribing MAR charts
  • Reviewing clinical paperwork, daily records, and MAR charts
  • Overseeing the clinical governance and quality standards within the packages of care
