We are recruiting a Support Worker to join our lovely team on a part-time basis to help and support a gentleman in his 70s with an acquired brain injury in the Hexham area. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £10.12 per hour.Working Hours: The role includes 24-hour shifts including sleeping nights which are in addition to the contracted hours. 21 to 35 hours (per week) day shift, contracted hours equates to 3x24 hour shifts per fortnight (including sleepovers)and 35 hours per week equates to 5x24 hour shifts per fortnight. A rolling rota system is in place, therefore shift requirements are planned well in advance but can be swapped where required.We offer a bespoke Case Management Service for people of all ages, with a particular emphasis on those recovering from acquired brain injuries. We have a reputation for taking on the more complex cases, and constantly strive to provide the most efficientand effective service possible.Ultimately our aim is to empower and support people to reach their full potential and maximize their rehabilitation opportunities in order to promote the best quality of life.The Support Worker Role:As our Support Worker, you will help to support a gentleman in his 70s with an acquired brain injury in the Hexham area.The client has cognitive problems and some mild challenging behaviours following a road traffic accident, he requires 1;1 support and supervision at all times in his own home and the local community.The role requires assistance with personal care tasks.What we are looking for in our Support Worker:
