Your pivotal responsibilities encompass:

Executing meticulously planned, reactive, and preventive maintenance procedures on an array of sophisticated plant machinery.
Showcasing your prowess in handling maintenance tasks spanning pumps, valves, converting machines, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Elevating the efficiency and productivity of the plant by proactively addressing maintenance challenges, ensuring operational continuity.
Engaging in close collaboration with a dynamic team to pinpoint areas ripe for enhancement and presenting well-considered solutions.
Embracing flexibility by participating in an on-call rotation, including weekends (approximately 1 in 4), and embracing overtime when the need arises.

Qualifications and Experience:To excel in this role, you should come equipped with:

A distinguished NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a corresponding qualification exhibiting your mechanical finesse.
Experience of working on machinery with the following components, pumps, valves, converting machines, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
A proven track record of excellence through previous stints in manufacturing or plant environments.
A proficiency that sets you apart in MIG & ARC welding would be a welcomed asset.
Prior experience in forklift operation, although not essential, would be favourably regarded.
An understanding of steam systems would certainly elevate your candidacy.
