As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role inproviding expert guidance, technical knowledgeand strategic insights to potential clients. You willcollaborate closely with our sales and product development teams, contributing to the growth and success of theorganisation.Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on technology solutions, particularly in the Retail IT industry.
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their unique business requirements and challenges.
  • Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations, showcasing the capabilities and value proposition of our solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored proposals and presentations that address client needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sales support.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to differentiate our solutions from competitors in the market.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partnersand internal teams.
  • Contribute to the development of sales collateral, includingwhitepapers, case studiesand solution documentation.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide valuable insights and feedback based on client interactions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting role, preferably in the Retail IT industry.
  • Strong knowledge of retail technology solutions, including point-of-sale systems, inventory management, e-commerce platformsand data analytics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
