Job Title: Planning Officer Location: Hertford Salary Range: £25,481 progressing to £34,728 per annumHours: 37 per weekContract: PermanentJob Duties:The County Council is looking for a new planning officer to work in its Development Management Team. The County Council deal with planning applications for sand and gravel quarries, waste management development and planning applications for the Council’s own services, such as schools, roads, recycling centres and fire stations.The development management team is as small team based in Hertford with significant experience of dealing with these developments and can support applicants in developing their planning career.The County Council are now implementing new ways of working using latest technologies meaning there is opportunity for some remote working. There will be the need though to carry out site visits and attend some meetings (some at County Hall, Hertford) physically.
