Please note previous applicants need not apply.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership and management role in delivering the Specialist Dementia Inpatient Service for those who use our services in the Wakefield and Barnsley locality.The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day shift and clinical leadership at the Poplars Specialist Dementia Unit for Older Adults with Dementia. The postholder will work in partnership with the leadership team for the Acute and Older Peoples service line consisting of the Clinical Lead, General Manager, Matron and Lead Nurse to meet agreed objectives and deliver a service of the highest quality to people with dementia.The successful candidate will work closely with the Unit Manager, community, iHBTT and acute inpatient teams and in partnership with Wakefield Local Authority, Mid Yorks Partnership Trust and Primary Care.The post holder will deliver on key performance indicators, support the development of all staff and possess key leadership skills and management expertise in order to successfully deliver compassionate care.Please note the working pattern for this position is 37.5 hours per week.The interview date for this vacancy will be 20th January 2020.
