Job Description

Temporary HR/Recruitment AdvisorThis role is available on either a temporary contract (minimum 4 weeks) or on temporary to permanent basis and involves working alongside the Human Resources Manager to deliver an outstanding HR service by providing business focussed advice on an ongoing basis to staff and line managers.

  • Employee engagement, policies, procedures, legislation, attendance, pay and conditions.
  • Advise and support negotiation of terms and conditions of employment or workplace changes with staff.
  • Consult on issues related to workplace relations and performance management.
  • Ensure that the HR Information System data is updated and maintained accurately.
  • Produce management information reports.
  • To lead on an area of specialism and provide back up support to the team and managers as required eg: recruitment of new staff including advertising, dealing with enquiries, short-listing, managing the paperwork and arranging interviews and managing the online recruitment system.
  • Welcoming new starters into the organisation: leading on induction and training, pre-employment checks, issuing contracts and offer letters and administering pension scheme correspondence.
  • Pay: £14.40-£15.95/hour plus holiday pay and pension (depending upon experience)Hours: 37 hours/weekLocation: Remote working, approx. one day a week in the office (Helmsley area, North Yorkshire)Duration: Minimum 4-8weeks Required skills
