An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Automation/Controls & Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire. Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing are exclusively partnering with this business to find a Controls/MaintenanceEngineer who will be involved with numerous exciting projects across the site.The Controls Engineer role will require the individual to continually improve the manufacturing processes with a view to drive performance across the site. You will work closely with the Maintenance team to improve the efficiency of the assets and help identifyand source new equipment, including upgrades to existing machinery. You will be involved with planning, designing, setting up, modifying and monitoring manufacturing processes. You will help programme PLCs and HMIs and should be able to design, programme,simulation and test. The post will also require you to evaluate and recommend improvements to the manufacturing processes, leading operational efficiency improvements across the site.Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing would be interested in talking to Controls/Automation Engineers with the following skills & experience:* Ideally degree qualified in an Engineering discipline* Strong Continuous Improvement knowledge and experience* PLC programming experience (any additional programming, HMI and additional controls experience would be beneficial) * Ability to influence and improve the siteElevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist recruitment consultancy dealing with engineering, technical and operational positions in Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
