Job Description

CNC Machinist Required!Our client is an engineering company based in West Yorkshire. For over 70 years, they have manufactured polishing and grinding equipment, amongst others, for the educational sector DT departments and industrial applications. Their machines have earned aworldwide reputation for robustness, quality, safety, and performance.Due to their ongoing growth, they are now looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team. The successful CNC Machinist will be a conscientious individual, with previous experience in machining, who takes pride in their work and products theyproduce.CNC Machinist - Position Overview

  • Set and Operate various machinery within the machine shop.
  • Read and work to Engineering drawings.
  • Work alongside Operators to achieve and uphold the required output from the machines.
  • Clean and deburr parts to customer specifications.
  • Working as part of a team to maximise output and efficiency throughout the shop.
  • Operate all machinery safely, effectively, and efficiently, whilst maintaining precision, accuracy & quality always.
  • To consistently achieve and uphold the required output from the machines to maintain, schedule and achieve targeted despatch dates.
  • Boxing or packaging of components, when required, to customer specifications.
  • Machine to high standards of quality & precision
CNC Machinist - Position Requirements
  • Previous experience of operating various CNC machines
  • Be able to understand comprehensive engineering drawings and instructions.
  • Previous experience working in a high tolerance manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge / previous experience on both Fanuc & Heidenhain controllers
  • Desire to expand knowledge and grow within the business.
CNC Machinist - Position Remuneration
  • Hourly Rate: £13-£15
  • Monday - Friday
  • Company Pension
  • On-site parking
