Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator with experience of working with Stainless and Mild Steel and Aluminum to work in a busy company in Hebburn, Tyne and WearThe role

  • You will be working directly with the Factory Manager in a busy factory and will be required to fabricate from drawing stage & weld products using MIG /TIG Welding
  • Working with Stainless and Mild Steel and Aluminum
  • Prepare materials
  • Carry out metal fabrication development from drawing stage to finished product
  • Use CNC Press Brake, Guillotine, and several hand tools to shape and cut materials
  • Understand and work to engineering drawings and schematic diagrams
  • MIG /TIG Skill
The person
  • Must have experience working with Stainless and Mild Steel and Aluminum
  • You must be competent using a Press Brake, Guillotine, and several hand tools to shape and cut materials
  • Must be able to work with engineering drawings and schematic diagrams
  • The right candidate will ideally have a working background in the fabrication industry as a fabricator
  • Formal Welding & Fabrication qualifications are desired but not essential, we can do practical skills test on candidate
  • It is essential to be able to understand and can work to engineering drawings and schematic diagrams
  • MIG/TIG skills are essential
  • Fabricate and weld products
  • Prepare materials
  • Carry out metal fabrication development
  • Understand and work to engineering drawings and schematic diagrams
  • Work with Stainless & Mild Steel and Aluminum.
  • Ideally hold CSCS card or similar This list is not exhaustive and may be added to/amended from time to time to suit the smooth and efficient running of the business.
This role is permanent after a probation period
