Job Description

Were looking for a Senior Site Engineerto join our Build Teambased in Newcastle.Location: Newcastle, Tyne and WearContract: Full Time, Permanent - Flexible working hours consideredWhat will you be responsible forAs a Senior Site Engineer youll be working within the Site Team, leading the team in with the HMP Northumberland Project.Your day to day will include:

  • Supervising and coordinating with specialist subcontractors engineers on site
  • Ensuring the proper designs, check and approvals are in place for all temporary works designs
  • Compile quality records for the works using Kiers QMS and ensure they are up to date and correct.
  • Ensure all engineering activities are successfully and safely delivered on time and on budget
  • Ensure subcontractors engineers are carrying works to required standard, accuracy and level of coordination.
What are we looking forThis role of Senior Site Engineer is great for you if:
  • Ability to competently operate setting out and levelling equipment (Total Stations and Digital Levels)
  • Experience with high value civil & structural work packages
  • Familiar with interpretation of technical standards and site controls necessary to ensure compliance
