The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a number of Class 2 HGV Drivers to fill positions for a client based in Hebburn. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Class 2 HGV Licence and must have a Valid CPC and Digi Tachograph CardThis role would involve local furniture deliveries to domestic properties and other local stores. You will be accompanied by a drivers mate to assist with the deliveries. Heavy lifting will be required with some deliveries on the second floor of properties. On delivery of the furniture you may be required to help assemble the item for the customer and remove packaging.There is currently day shifts available and a typical working day usually lasts no longer than 10 hours.Our client works 7 days a week working on a 4 on 2 off rota.Due to current circumstances, you will be required to wear the correct PPE whilst entering customer properties. This will include a face mask and gloves.Requirements of the Class 2 HGV DriverClass 2 (HGV) licence with Valid CPC and Digi CardFlexibility in terms of shiftsMust have no more than 6 points on licenceVerifiable referencesCompensation of the Class 2 HGV DriverThe starting salary for this position is up to £10.58 per hour PAYE / £11.58 Ltd Companyand £13.23 per hour PAYE / £14.23 Ltd Company after working 48 hoursAdditional Benefits & Requirements
