We have recently been awarded a FTTH contract on behalf of City Fibre.We are looking to recruit experienced Cable Splicer professionals in Newcastle for a long-term project.Cable Splicer - About the Role:We are currently looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Cable Splicer to ensure a scheduled programme of work is delivered on time, to budget in a safe, quality manner.Cable Splicer - Responsibilities:• Installation and testing of all fibre cabling work (cabinets, joints, ODF).• Complete and submit all necessary documentation.• Deal with day to day issues and problemsCable Splicer - Candidate Requirements:• Experience in a similar role• Knowledge of BT Network would be an advantage• Must hold a full UK driving license• Hold valid a minimum NRSWA street works operative unit 2• Hold or have held Openreach and cabling accreditation modules.• Excellent communication skills• Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices.Benefits:• Salary up to £28,000 DOE• Opportunities to progress career• Works Van• 22 days annual holiday, plus 8 statsIf you have the skills and experience, we require for this role, please click on the APPLY button and forward an up to date CV and cover letter.Due to the volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to all applicants.
