Job Description

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for an exciting new permanent, part-time opportunity Office Angels are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant, to join our client who is based in Hebburn, on a part-time permanent contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful, and growing business, who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to oversee the Accounts function of the business and support the Accountant.   • Working hours: Part-time - flexibility offered for this role. Hours can be 3 full days or shorter hours spread across 5 days to accommodate the school run! (Standard office hours are 8AM - 4PM, Monday - Friday)
  • Holidays - 30 days including bank holidays
  • Pension 3% employer, 4% employee
  • Fully office based in Hebburn, free on-site parking
  • A newly refurbished, modern work environment
  • Salary - £20K-£25K FTE (depending on experience)
  • Start date: ASAP - as this role is urgent it is essential you are available immediately, or with a short 1-2 week notice period.
Based in your own lovely, furbished office, you will be responsible for:
  • Processing Supplier and Sub Contractor Invoices through Sage 50 internal system
  • Processing weekly wage and expense transactions through Sage 50
  • Processing Supplier and bank payments through Sage
  • Reconciling Bank Accounts in Sage
  • Collating receipts and reconciling the company credit card
  • Producing reports to the Directors from Sage
  • Supporting the Accountant (outsourced) with bookkeeping admin duties
  • General Administration - managing incoming post, supporting colleagues
As you will be based in your own office, you will need to be self-motivated, organised and comfortable with working alone, you will, of course, be in the main office, where the rest of the team are also based, however you have the beauty of being able toenjoy the peace and quiet of your own work space.Previous experience of working in an Accounts/Payroll position is essential, as is experience of using Sage 50.If you have the relevant experience and are available immediately, or with a very short/negotiable notice period, please apply today!Office Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
