Job Description

I am working with an organisation that sits within the aviation industry who are currently recruiting for a HR Manager to take over from the current incumbent of 6 years.This is an extremely fast paced and challenging role - it is fairly transactional and you will be working closely with the 400 employees for all ER queries, including disciplinaries and grievances. The jobs of these employees are primarily airline staffwhich include baggage handlers, check-in agent, supervisors, team leaders etc. Experience in dealing with similar employees would be extremely advantageous.The current HR Manager will be leaving at the end of July and she is looking to complete a 1 month handover - this means that interviews will be ASAP to allow for 1st and 2nd stage interview. With the urgency of this role, we cannot accept anyone with anotice period more than 1 - 2 weeks. Ideally you will be available immediately.Hours - 9am - 5.30pm - 1 hour lunch break. Days - MondayFridayLocation: Heathrow Terminal 3 (used to be based in Terminal 4 but have since relocated). Whilst they are currently working from home, this role will be based in the office.Initially you will be working from the office full time, but there is the option of flexible working (to be discussed with your line manager as and when needed).One day a week you will be required to work from the Luton office alongside the HR Assistant (travel expenses will be paid)Experience or an excellent understanding of the following is essential:TUPERedundanciesFurloughACASUnionsInternational employment lawRecruitmentYou do not need to have a CIPD for this role, but you must have the relevant HR experience and availability to be considered.
