Job Description

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Import person for a well established small privately owned Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.Daily Duties:-

  • Completing Import customs entries (sequoia)
  • Ensure all documentation is correct.
  • Complete and check customs entries, checking the CPC to be used after receiving instructions from the client.
  • Collection and deliveries
  • Quotations
  • Pre-Alerts
  • Negotiating Airline rates
  • Liaising with Transport companies
  • Assisting with basic Warehouse duties
    • Requirements:-
  • Hold a full UK driving.
  • Import Airfreight experience
  • Have a good knowledge of the English language both verbal and written.
  • The ability to prioritise and organise own workload to tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills: the ability to communicate effectively with the client and colleagues.
  • Be a team player
    • Working hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pmAs an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight specialist in the UK.
