Job Description

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Air Export person for a well-estasblised niche sector Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.-We are looking for a proactive, commercially minded Airfreight Export person who has experience in Air Export operations, creating operation efficiencies and customs procedures.The role will involve: -

  • Performing Export Airfreight shipments from start to finish
  • Daily communication with clients from booking stage to final delivery including close cooperation with the team to understand requirements and to provide second to none logistics solutions.
  • Key Account management
  • Building and maintaining client relations for new and continued business with customers
  • Supporting customers with general and logistics specific advice
  • Creation of documents such as MAWB, HAWB and NES entries
  • Working with HMRC and other customs authorities
  • Raise issues and provide solutions regarding work within the department.
  • Airline liaison
  • Liaison with Transport department
  • Competence in handling/submitting additional customs documentation, certificates, or licences.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Problem-solving ability, particularly when working under pressure
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
