Job Description

Our busy and highly established client is seeking to recruit a Trade & Export Sales Coordinator due to strong departmental and business growth levelsDue to workplace location, your own transport is essential.Hours Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 and office based.The roleTo support the UK and Export sales teams and ensure the efficient and accurate development of trading relationships, order fulfilment and to co-ordinate any related activities to a high professional standard.ResponsibilitiesTrade

  • Be the key internal point of contact for all field based colleagues
  • Manage and coordinate the Trade inbox, management of inbound orders and customer and non-customer enquiries.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all orders through a close working relationship with the distribution centre.
  • Be responsible for Amazon Vendor order management from initial receipt through to fulfilment within the required time frame.
  • To work closely with supply chain, understanding stock & replenishment cycles in order to effectively communicate to customers and recommend/negotiate a compromise proposition if required.
  • Manage all key customer account promotional activities.
  • To check all other relevant trade offers and promotions are actioned appropriately.
  • Manage key account customer databases.
  • Work closely with the finance team resolving any account issues such as invoicing and credits.
  • Set up new accounts and credit facilities according to company policy
  • Support the Trade Marketing Manager with the provision of adverts, copy, and imagery to all relevant channels.
  • Establish and build professional customer relationships
  • Ensure all required actions and tasks are undertaken on time with accuracy.

  • Provide additional support with Export as and when required
  • Provide support with the submission of all certifications required for Export Consignments.
  • Other tasks
  • To facilitate and complete any research projects as agreed with manager
  • To attend occasional trade events in support of the sales team
  • To process new registration forms.
  • To request/check and file certifications
  • Skills and Knowledge Required
  • Numerate with excellent commercial awareness
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • High level of co-ordination and facilitation skills
  • In depth IT literacy (Email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn company bespoke systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive, methodical and self motivated.
  • Team player
  • A professional telephone and email manner
  • Personable with the ability to develop professional relationships
  • Desire to develop the role and progress within the company
  • Experience required
  • Experience with B2B trade preferably FMCG
  • Sales experience or working in a commercial environment
  • Export / Logistics experience
