Our client is looking for an HR Generalist/Administrator to provide support in their HR area of the business.This is an exciting opportunity for someone to gain experience in this role and would be ideal for someone starting their CIPD qualification or someone with previous HR administration experience.Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am to 4.30pm. Friday 8am to 12.30pm. However can be flexible.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Manage the payroll processes and relationships with the payroll administration team, completing the payroll data within the required timeframe. * Manage key Human Resources administrative tasks, including time and attendance, selection and assessment, performance appraisals, communications, Reward & Recognition tracking, company cars and organizational charts.* Collect and analyse accurate and timely data for established and relevant HR metrics.* Support with the harmonisation of Danfoss and former Eaton policies and procedures ensuring standardisation across the UK with clear transparent communications of any agreed changes.* Support with coaching Line Managers/Team Leaders in a number of diverse areas with the view to growing capability and skills to resolve operational issues, ensuring their understanding of and compliance with UK Employment Law and best practice. * Assist Line Managers / Team Leaders with day-to-day operational performance issues.* Create a paperless HR system (through the use of scanning documentation and saving on the current computer system) which contains an accurate record of employee data which is compliant with UK legislation. * Support with the management of all policies and procedures impacting on Attendance Management and Rehabilitation. Identify Best Practice and analyze data to identify trends/patterns. Utilize these to compose recommendations for improvements in managing attendanceand rehabilitation.* Support with the creation of Management Referrals to Occupational health and advising managers of the actions the business needs to take forward as per the OHP report received.* Support the HRM with the overall Communications plan.
