Job Description

Horizon Teachers are currently working with a SEND School in Hillingdon who are looking for 2 Teaching Assistants to work with them to support children within their school across KS1 and KS2. This specialist school caters for children who have an EHCPfor Special Educational Needs, predominantly behavioural, social and emotional and ASD.This school work hard to create a welcoming environment for this children to learn, and offer services such as play therapy and speech and language therapy to best help support them.As a Teaching Assistant, you will need to help manage the students behaviour and use your initiative to help best support them. This will be a very rewarding role for the right person and will pay up to £500 per week. This role is to start ASAP until July 2024,on a full time basis.What the school are looking for in their Teaching Assistants:

  • Experience supporting children within a Nursery or School setting.
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs is very desirable.
  • Confident working 1:1 and within small groups of children
  • Be able to assist the class teacher with classroom preparation
