Job Description

We have been asked to work with an energetic primary school pupil who has age-appropriate skills but requires social support. One of the aims of tuition will be to enable him to re-engaging him in activities in a way he will enjoy.The ideal tutor will have experience in working with young people with SEMH needs and with experience with behaviour management skills. Previous experience of one-to-one work with young people with SEN, SEMH and/or Autism would be an advantage.The ideal tutor will have:

  • Previous experience of supporting a young person with SEMH needs and Autism.
  • A holistic approach to working with others.
  • An ability to adapt and think on their feet.
  • Experience of working with young people.
  • Training or experience in SEN.
Role Details:
  • SEMH Tutor
  • Hayes, Hillingdon
  • Two hours per day, in the mornings
  • In the school
  • Monday to Friday
  • £35 per hour
