Job Description

Regional Sales Manager is sought due to internal promotion within this manufacturer of door and furniture solutions, who in turn are part of a premium worldwide brand for polymer-based innovations and systems in construction, automotive and furniture industry and established in c170 locations worldwide. As part of this successful group they are now looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager with furniture sales experience to sell their products in the region covering from Northampton down to south of England including London. Ideally you will be based in and around and/or have easy access to the Heathrow area.Key objectives:Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will capitalise on new opportunities and be involved in wider strategic plans to explore and improve existing and future revenue streams. Working closely with the Production Manager and Internal Sales Administrators, you will bring your experience to improve internal sales procedures whilst driving KPI’s and delivering exceptional customer service levelsThe Role:

  • You will be an integral part of our sales team using your experience and market knowledge to develop and grow market share
  • Specialising in B2B, our client manufacture and supply tambour doors, edge banding and high end surface components to a wide variety of users
  • Supplying into shop fitters, joiners, designers and manufacturers of kitchen/office furniture
  • Your time will be split 50/50 between field sales (scouting/developing) and office based (account management) from our office near Heathrow.
  • Regional patch focusing on London and the south of England (Northampton down) will be based on territory i.e. Milton Keynes, Oxford, Reading, Slough, Maidenhead, High Wycombe, Banbury, Watford, Aylesbury
  • The Person:
  • Experience in the furniture industry
  • It is imperative you have a proven record of selling similar products and have industry knowledge within the Office, Kitchen, Bedroom or Bathroom sector.
  • Driven to generate new business and achieve targets
  • Able to work from Heathrow office two days a week
  • Proven record of market / channel knowledge
  • Experience in direct customer and supplier relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence with both verbal and written skills
  • Previously involved in technical sales would be an advantage

  • Hours of work = 39 hours per week
  • Bonus = Up to 20% paid on a quarterly basis, dependent upon achievement of targets
