This role is a hybrid role and is based in Hayes middlesexit is paying between 32000 and 42000 depending on your last salaryplease email me your latest cv if you are interested and I will then either call you or put your cv forward thank youJob TitleIT Technical SupportDepartment: IT DepartmentJob ObjectiveThis role is essential for you will be the main IT technical person responsible for supporting all IT systems across the business unit. This will include maintaining internal Servers, PC, Printers and WAN/ LAN networks inclusive of web applications (Innovation)and coordinating with Group IT based in Germany.The candidate will need to obtain a calm and mature personality with the ability to work both on your own initiative and as part of IT team which comes with full training/guidance. This is new role that has been created to work more in partnership with GroupIT, very exciting time to join the organization.Primary Responsibilities

• 2nd line technical desktop support for all onsite users, including management of the Servers and Routers.
• 1st line Technical support for home users as and when require.
• Act as a liaison between multiple departments/group IT, making sure this is done from start to finish.
• Involved in multiple IT projects and will be working directly with head of IT.
• Responsible in supporting the team in raising IT tickets inclusive of self-management of your own tickets.
• Involved in IT change control process of release management and platform testing.
• Carry out and coordinate testing for any IT changes alongside regular testing (Including IT project work).
• Able to create documentation for end user/included technical guides. (This will also include giving training)
• Research new technologies to suit our needs and requirements for the business, future tech ready.
• Working with wider group companies in applying IT best practice, internal training will be given.
• Responsible for IT security, patch management cycles for our entire IT setup (Working alongside Group IT).

• All internal staff,
• Working with internal IT department and Group IT based in Germany.
• Internal process champions for different business application systems.
• Security champion, very proactive on cyber security alongside patch management.

• IT vendors/3rd party support partners. (Printers, door access, HP, break fix contracts)

Skills/Qualifications

• Basic IT knowledge and has interest in working within IT department (KPI development plan will be set).
• Technical qualifications in Microsoft, Cisco, HP would be desired, ITIL v3 or project management is good to have.
• Experience in supporting end-user for IT desktop support /Application support for over 3 to 4 years.
• Strong customer and service orientation, you will be the front line and 2nd support for London site.
• Ability to liaise with staff all level and to communicate information in a simple manner.
• Can work well on own initiative and within a team environment. (#ONETEAM)
• Out of hours support may be required at times for system updates, being flexible is very important.
